Implementation beyond the technology cat stocker with sap business one
SAP Italia has chosen to give voice to its Partner Ecosystem through a series of Podcasts that, divided by topics related to technology, innovation and HR, give the opportunity to talk about SAP Business One technology and its usability. One of our partners, InformEtica Consulting, was also involved in this programme and wanted to tell us about the CAT Stocker Garden Project.
One of the main benefits was an increase in the quality of customer service, in terms of timing and staff specialisation. Customer response in case of repair or replacement has been reduced. There was also more interaction, discussion and collaboration between the shops and Stocker’s head office. Enrico Biolo, COO di InformEtica Consulting
The challenges InformEtica Consulting met in this implementation project were mainly 4:
- Starting from a completely new idea, in fact the technological project was created completely from scratch, without any pre-configured base;
- Making software userfriendly, even though the development is complex and in some parts quite complicated;
- Include in the project a double vision of the user experience: CAT side in the usability of the platform, software side in the design of the software;
- To develop software that was an extension of SAP Business One and inherited all its useful information.
The project required the professionalism of InnoTech for the development of the software integrated with SAP Business One. Professionals and technologies that came into play and contributed to the realisation of the project and its successful launch in both Italy and Spain. InnoTech used some of the most innovative programming languages currently available and, above all, web-oriented. SAP Business One lent itself very well to dialogue with web programs thanks to its API (Application Programming Interface), then to create a software such as the CAT Stocker portal that would carry all this is Given, Information in a single homogeneous flow. But to listen to the whole interview with Enrico Biolo and find out how the project evolved, just listen to the Podcast entitled: More united service teams to increase competitiveness.
